Some feel like non-interactive should be propagated. It's more surprising to some that they are separated.

Any change to this behavior should be well documented, including warnings in release notes.

Maybe for non-interactive specifically, we need a flag that will throw on attempt to be interactive. Maybe read CI environment variable to trigger this.

Overall, the logging configurations as they stand are flexible enough, and provide the most important disambiguation, which is making it clear when a log is emitted by OpenTofu/Terraform, and when it's being emitted by Terragrunt.

Concerns include any regression that causes an incorrect split in stdout/stderr forwarding.

Interesting, it's new and we need the community to try it out. It feels like the right direction for dynamic control of Terragrunt.

Community feedback:

Mocking outputs is annoying. It can be very confusing.

Tentative interest in the outputs block. Interest in a caching solution.

It is still not easy for the community to get their feet wet contributing to Terragrunt. Label for road to v1 or easy issues.
