A sample project based of Angular's Tour of Heroes application with minor modification. Used for future reference and refreshing memory.
Things of note:
- Basics of routing and navigation
- Workings between HTML and TS (Such as data binding)
- When to handle in UI TS vs in Services
- Angular's built in helpers (i.e ng generate component/service/module)
- Mocking a remote server using in-memory-web-api
- CRUD methods
- HTTP requests and nifty tricks to handle it
Things not explored (yet):
- Unit and E2E Testing
- Styling (frankly speaking, the app looks like utter shite)
Best case scenario, maybe turn this into a boilerplate.
Worse case scenario, this can serve as a good refresher.
Either ways we need more sticky bombs.
This project was generated with Angular CLI version 10.0.7.
Run ng serve
for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/
. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
Run ng generate component component-name
to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module
.
Run ng build
to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/
directory. Use the --prod
flag for a production build.
Run ng test
to execute the unit tests via Karma.
Run ng e2e
to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
