I keep finding contradictory information about RAM and Flash...
The SOC is Mediatek 7626BN (TP1900BN) 1.2GHz 1C/2T (ARM Cortex A7)
I want to install OpenWRT 21.x in this device but it seems TP1900BN is not yet supported...
and it needs at least 8MB RAM and 64MB flash for 'fair' use... (https://openwrt.org/supported_devices/432_warning)

Return/sell the device and try buying another router instead.
OpenWrt 21 is out of development and this router has likely only 4mb of Flash like it's counterparts sharing the same cpu. Wikidevi query
Unless you are willing to implement support for a new cpu architecture for an out of development os of course (considerable effort, if not huge)
