Overview

Create-React-App is being deprecated and relies on an older version of React scripts which limits our abilities to upgrade dependencies efficiently and upgrade security issues. Thus, we need to switch to Vite, which will address these concerns.

Action Items

  • Merge Development branch into Vite to test functionality
  • Once confirmed that Vite will build and run in Development, Merge into development.
  • Once successfully merged, meet with Product Manager to review & close all issues that are associated with React / upgrading React packages
