Feature: Show data validation volunteers their past submissions and their submission’s approval status

Several student data validation volunteers (2024-04) have asked to see a record of their past submissions and to be able to see the approval status, perhaps even being notified by email.

With the UI right now, when volunteers submit a record, it’s like kind of tossing their submissions into a void and they can’t tell if they did good or not, so they’d like some feedback.

It would also be nice for volunteers who come back repeatedly to see a pile of past validation work.

How is it now?

Data validation volunteers can only see their current assignments. No past assignments.

Proposed new feature

• Old submissions could be stacked underneath the current assignments. Perhaps colored differently or in a different section or tab.

• It would be nice to see the submission/approval status as well

• Could be nice to expand each record to see the validation history/record.

• It would also be nice to have a link to the record’s public web page for each assignment (both current and past) — easy to see the results of your work, or to view what the current record says (as you’re working on a draft with possible revisions).
