Considering this example presentation from Slides.com
At the same window size here is the text in
Version 1.48.0 (51018)-RC
Chromium Engine Version 126.0.6478.62

From the title:

Zoom in on Slide 2

And here it is in Safari Version 17.5 (19618.2.12.11.6)

From the title:

In these image it might look subtle, but when viewing a presentation it is a bit unpleasant to read.

EDIT:

For good measure I just checked the DuckDuckGo browser on Mac (version Version 1.91.0 (199)) which I believe uses webkit and it exhibits the same behaviour as Safari.

Firefox 127.0 (64-bit) on mac is fine.
