Is there support for creating collections and containers for Cosmos Global Document DB ? #3506
Comments
Hi @cdesewell, there is! it was just released in v1.28 |
@katbyte so what's the resource name for a SQL Collection? |
I see there's a resource for SQL Database https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/azurerm/r/cosmosdb_sql_database.html but i don't see anything for Collections within that Database. |
Same @ryancrawcour, @katbyte how would I create a collection ? |
I don't believe you can create a SQL API collection, only a Mongo API collection, which is not what we want to do. The change list for 1.28 has the following - New Resource: azurerm_cosmosdb_table (#3442) Nothing about cosmosdb-sql_collection. @katbyte, can you comment? |
Please add creation of the SQL Collection, should be pretty straight forward as it is very similar to Mongo. |
This was added in #3871 and released in |
This has been released in version 1.34.0 of the provider. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading. As an example: provider "azurerm" {
version = "~> 1.34.0"
}
# ... other configuration ... |
