Affected Resource(s)

  • google_*

See https://registry.terraform.io/providers/hashicorp/google-beta/latest/docs/resources/monitoring_monitored_project which works, and https://registry.terraform.io/providers/hashicorp/google/latest/docs/resources/monitoring_monitored_project which doesn't (but should)

A fix here may be obviated by using the google-beta website as the google website (which we thought we were doing), but could help fix the issue sooner and will be more consistent with MMv1 in case we have a similar issue in the future.

I believe we didn't run into this with earlier beta-only resources because their documentation was handwritten, and copied into the third_party/website folder of MMv1 w/o version guards.

Filed as bug because this is user-facing.

Unfortunately, the autogenerated documentation for https://registry.terraform.io/providers/hashicorp/google-beta/latest/docs/resources/monitoring_monitored_project is barely usable as it currently stands, so this should be a moderately high priority.
