Travis fails pull requests

Travis is having problems with pull requests that run fine locally. @niamu looked into it the other day and couldn't figure it out. Maybe @kyleconroy or @phamdaniel know's what's happening?

We can't release anything until this is resolved. I have no idea why it fails when everything runs perfectly locally.

Did you guys guys push attempted fixes to master? Because I'm seeing a few different kinds of errors on Travis.

I did make a change to Travis which caused a successful build that was then merged to master, yes. Afterwards, we discovered that successful build was not reliable. You can see the passing build with #2396.

You essentially told the error to be quiet... doesn't really fix it.

I don't pretend to understand why my change resolved part of the problem, and yet moving the build code the way I did does happen to get further than than your build, you'll note.

In my changes, love installs and executes. In your build and the others, it mysteriously fails.

A dependency is failing to install.
