When creating a fork of this repo, the repo name ends up losing some semantic information. For example, it's hard to tell what https://github.com/namurphy/gallery is for, and it's also possible that other projects have their own repo with the name gallery. What would we think of renaming it as pyhc-gallery instead of gallery? That would make the names of the forks a bit more clear.

I think that's a fine idea! The new JupyterBook version of the gallery is going to get its own repo; I can name that one pyhc-gallery.
