Exclusion of some of the strings via config.ini

Great driver and works perfectly on my setup (OpenDTU with 3 Hoymiles and Raspberry 3 with latest Venus OS). Thanks Henne.
I am planning to add an ESS. I was able to connect my BMS with Venus OS and it recognizes already the battery charge and discharge. Next device will be a HM2Akku, that will connect my battery with one of my Hoymiles (on my HM-1500, I have only two strings in use).
Now idea of a change request: any possibility to exclude some of the strings on an inverter via config.ini? Because otherwise that power will be counted twice (Sun -> via Hoymiles -> Battery -> HM2Akku -> via Hoymiles -> Home).
I see in the code that easiest way would be to exclude just one String (as the HM2Akku is only connected to one string) and have something like this in the config:

I guess that amount of keeping the initial TotalYield on that string is important, otherwise the TotalYield of the Inverter is suddenly lower, because idea is to get the Daily or TotalYield of the string set in the config and substract that mount from the inverter TotalYield (or DailyYield). In case of TotalYield setting the ExclStringInitialTotalYield will be added again.
Happy to give it a try on my local installation and report my finding (and happy to contribute to your great project :-))

This is a great idea and I appreciate your willingness to contribute. One thing, could you elaborate on what you mean by keeping the total yield?

Whenever I use a hoymiles as a battery it shouldn't be reported to the total PV production. Maybe I don't get you here.

I was planning to do something similar but I would use a victron mppt charger directly to the battery and a hoymiles to discharge the battery.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your PR.

that was my initial plan, to have victorn mppt charger charging the battery and linking them to venus os (and delink the hoymiles that connects to HM2Akku, to prevent double counting the same energy), but due to panel placements (those producing lot of energies are on the roof, but LifePO4 akku should not be outside, especially during winter. Two panels with my HM-1500 are on the ground, can move cable and HM into cellar) I will use my old PowMr to charge the battery. Which by the way produces incredible lot of EMR (need to shield it). This set-up allows me to charge the power from all panels.

About the "keeping the total yield": I guess VRM calculates how much has been loaded hourly by checking the

a string that should be excluded, might have already some TotalYield (power produced). The exclusion substract that amount from the total yield that is sent to VRM might confuse the VRM (as it suddenly sees a drop in that forward energy). Just a guess. Or it might ignore all the power produced for that inverter until that gap is filled up again. Or do you have any insights here? I can give it a try on my local set-up :-)
