Subject of the issue

When trying to Encrypt the wallet/database, on next startup access via a password is not working.

Enviroment:

  • Laptop I7 16GB
  • Wallet version: YWALLET 1.4.5
  • OS: Linux: Debian bookworm (12) based OS tried: (Linux LMDE/MX/Peppermint OS)
  • Previous Versions : none

Steps to reproduce

  • Install Ywallet (flatpak)
  • Add account in Ywallet
  • Once an account is made, goto security, Select protect send and set database encryption with new password.
  • Close down wallet
  • Re-start wallet

Expected behaviour

When re-starting the wallet, it should ask for password (set previously) when wallet encryption is enabled and open up the wallet with accounts setup previously.

Actual behaviour

Wallet opens up but the old accounts are missing/gone and wallet acts like it is an initial startup.
E.g. Disclaimer checkboxes splash screen, new account/recover option screen etc...

Bug confirmed.

Working on MacOS.
Working with AppImage

Broken in Flatpak/Flathub. Most likely due to the sandbox.
