I have the Zenbook UX430UA with the kaby lake-R i5-8250u CPU.

I'm using macOS 10.15.5 with opencore 0.5.9

Your hotpatches work great for my laptop even on opencore. So, thanks a ton for this great hard work you've put in.

I have some minor issues, that I'd like to clarify:

The biggest issue is that my CPU is capped at 1.6Ghz even though the temps are between 50-60 celsius.
This results in poor performance in cinebench R20, which gets a mere score of 750, compared to 1560 in windows.
I checked, and I have the X86PlatformPlugin loaded and working.
Even the TDP doesn't seem to go above 8w under heavy load with the AC adapter plugged in even on low temps.

The second doubt I had is that does AsusSMC keyboard backlighting work on 10.15.5? Because, it doesn't work for me.

The last thing is that when I put my laptop on sleep, It does so perfectly, but, on my real macbook pro, it locks the screen when I wake it up, whereas, here, it just wakes the screen, and it stays unlocked. IDK if this is an issue though.

I'd appreciate any help.

I can't help you with any of the other issues but the the lock screen on wake is a setting that you have to change. If the computer is going to sleep properly after closing the lid, try the following:

1. Open the "System Preferences" pane
2. Click on "Security and Privacy"
3. Go to the "General" tab and select the "Require Password" check box. Make sure you select immediately from the dropdown so that your hackintosh locks itself immediately after closing the lid.
4. Make sure to disable "Automatic Login"

Hello. Please, can you tell me how could you create the EFI folder for opencore?
I follow the basic instructions of hieplpvip, but i just can create the EFI for clover version.
