Note the pinouts of the Card Bus between the JANDS Hog 250/600 are different to the Event 4, and the 500/1000/Echelon...
Interchanging these will cause some damage, as 12V is applied to data pins and ground!
I pulled these straight from the schematics... The Event 4 is looking down onto the connector, TBC the 500/1000 is inverted or just shown drawn from the other side of the board.

OK, so the ESP-II Cardbus is a similar interface, but very different pinout --- do not interconnect ESP-II (and maybe older, eg Stage-12), ESP-II maybe has an interrupt line on initial investigation.
The Echelon 1000 Master card has powered up using the same same pin-out as the Event 4, it looks connector is reversed in the HOG 500/1000, but in reality I believe it to be the same, not 100% sure yet but looks just the the other side of the connector is used in the docs. So I believe we use the same Event4 pinout... looking from above.
