Documentation Code Camp Events Time Slots

Time slots are the core component of the agenda. It's the backbone that allows you to properly assign and display the schedule for attendees of all types to be able to find their way to the right place, at the right time. You can create time slots at any time, but they're required before anyone sees anything useful in the agenda.
In order to create your schedule of time slots, click the Manage Time Slots button.
This switches the view to the time slot management view. When you first arrive, there won't be any time slots to see. You'll need to click the Add Time Slot button to add your first one.
Creating a time slot requires very little input. Basically, all we need to know is the name of the time slot that attendees might see, and the begin/end times. These values are the critical details that will tell everyone where to be.
Spanning a time slot for all tracks is for periods during the event where all attendees are intended to be in the same place, at the same time. Prominent examples of this include a keynote speech, lunch, and closing remarks/raffle.
Once you add your desired time slots, they'll begin to display here, as well as in the agenda itself.
Now that you have time slots created, you may want to begin ensuring that sessions to them. It is VERY important that this is the last thing you do when managing your event. Otherwise, managing sessions might begin to feel tedious.
In order to assign sessions to time slots, we'll need to return to the tracks page, then click the name of the track we wish to sort sessions for. This will show us the popup dialog below.
If you have a single day event, this might be a fair representation of what your sort view may look like. However, larger events may see a longer list. All you have to do to assign the sessions to your time slots is drag and drop the sessions in the order that you wish them to be attended. This will automatically assign them to the requisite time slots to make this happen, and as a result, begin to fill out your agenda.
