The problem

I have 20 Shelly BLU Door/Window devices in integration. Everything is working correctly, the devices are communicating, but in the details of all devices the model is wrong.

image

All devices are presented as "BTHome sensor from Shelly" instead of correct name of device. Because of this, some other integrations are not working - for example Battery Notes.
image

Author's statement (Battery Notes):
I've not seen these before but the issue is that the model is presented as "BTHome sensor" in the second screenshot. Battery Notes requires the model to automatically detect the device. There won't be any way to detect these as all Shelly BTHome sensors will appear the same.

Is there any chance of solving this?

Hey there @Ernst79, @thecode, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (bthome) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

BTHome sensor is a default name shown if the model is not a known model, as you wrote besides the name everything will work the same. I have started working on some infra to allow easier adding of model names, I hope to finish it soon. I will link to this issue when it is ready.

And is there any way to user-complement this hardware to make it known for integration?

You can just rename the device, there is nothing else other than the name
