Hi,

I tried to find this job: http://hot-export.geofabrik.de/jobs/2452 but any of the words making up its title allows to make it appear. Any idea of the reason why?

The "filter" on the job overview page does not play well with the pagination - it is javascript based (does not make a server-round-trip for everything you enter) and therefore only filters inside the current page. This was no problem when we had no pagination and everything was on one page, but now it has become rather useless. A "proper" search function could be built.

We discussed during the issue triage meeting that it probably makes more sense just to remove the 'name' based search entirely and instead implement a 'bounding box' search typ approach where you select an area or zoom on a map or something and then you see jobs for that geographic area.
