We need to design the website from the ground up. Taking references from other renowned TAP cell websites might be a great place to start.

I would like to chime in with a TAP cell website, specifically of IIT Delhi. They call it the "Office of Career Services".

I like how it is presentable with a focus of maintaining an executive feel. Its not over the top but it does feel like there's work put into it.

we can take reference from this iiit pune tap cell website it has impressive starting screen

We can add a placement statistics section which can be updated on regular basis year by year according to placement performance and contains all the information of past recruiters and stats for that we can use backend so that we don't need to update our website code again and again and we can easily update the information through TAP cell or admin.

for reference we can refer to COLLAGE PRAVESH website which update its stats of all collage time to time

And also we can use some graph to show stats which will be attractive for visitors.
We can add a contact us section just like we did in house of geeks website.
