Expectation:
I can write code with Github Copilot occasionally suggesting code snippets and easily skip to the next song when playing music on Spotify using Vscodefy.

Reality:
Github Copilot stops suggesting code as soon as I enable the Vscodefy extension.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Visual Studio Code
  2. Install the extension Github Copilot (additional steps required: sign in with Github account opted-in for copilot, see here, and accept telemetry dialog)
  3. Write some code and see it autocomplete
  4. Install the extension Vscodefy (additional steps required: sign in with Spotify Premium account)
  5. Github Copilot no longer shows any code suggestions.

Steps to fix Github Copilot:

  1. Disable the extension Vscodefy
  2. Reload Visual Studio Code

Additional information:

  • Operating System: Ubuntu 21.10
  • Visual Studio Code Install Method: deb, snap (any)
  • Visual Studio Code Version: 1.64.2
  • Github Copilot Version: nightly-1.7.5011
  • Vscodefy Version: 0.0.11
