Would you consider collaboration with jsDelivr to publish your whole SVG library via their CDN? They may even provide a custom endpoint solution for this project: https://www.jsdelivr.com/oss-cdn
From the consumer perspective, it would be very nice to be able to use SVG files directly from a highly available CDN. I see api.iconify.design also provides SVG files but doesn't give that much confidence about the availability on high traffic. You may check bootstrap-icons as an example.
