I would also like to see this. I have external libraries in Immich that contain images with raw and jpeg versions. In the timeline I stack these images, when I add this stack I have two images in the album. |

Another UseCase: I shoot RAW+JPG with my camera and stack them in my timeline. After, I add them to an album to share the trip with my friends. Now, every image is shown twice (one times a bit darker, one a bit brighter - due to beeing raw or jpeg). |

Are there any plans to implement this feature as of yet? Personally I have postcards that I digitize to store them forever. To then have the front, inside and back together as one I stack them on the timeline. This makes it a really neat way to have almost like a digital way to open and close the postcard. Love to also have this feature in albums so that I can share the album and have it load up nicely. |

I would like to see this working in albums as well, especially shared albums. I am scanning old photos with writing on the back, and stacking the front and back scans together to keep the metadata together. Any eta on this working in albums? |

When I stack photos on the timeline and then share the stacked "photo" to an album, only one photo from the stack is in the shared album. This is not good. Similarly, if I already have a shared album full of photos and I stack those photos on the timeline, it won't show up in the shared album. This is a similar "issue". If I want to do this again time in the album, this stacking function is not available. |

The feature
As of right now stacking only works in the main timeline, extend the feature to function when a stack is sent to albums as well
