Hi Team,

Great API and tool that gives a simplified way to access and assess different systems and versions...

I was wondering, if there is a place we can download the new algorithms like TNM 8 or TNM 9...

Reason for the ask: TNM 7 supports the DX year till 2017 and the latest DX Years are not supported ...

It will be a great help if we can explore for TNM 8 and TNM 9

The SEER Staging API is designed to meet the needs of the NCI SEER Program. In 2004-2015, SEER used Collaborative Staging; in 2016-2017, they used a modified UICC TNM Staging; and for 2018+, they are using EOD 2018 (Extent of Disease) staging.

EOD 2018 is based on the staging concepts defined by the AJCC TNM staging, which is why there are V9 schemas – they have been updated to remain related to the AJCC TNM V9 definitions. However, EOD 2018 does not take timing into account (Clinical versus Pathological) so it is not the same system.

The AJCC has developed and supports their own APIs and AJCC licenses their materials, so we are unable to provide TNM 8 or TNM 9 API definitions in our API. Please contact the AJCC for information related to licensing and access to their APIs.
