ContactList View settings change after edit

When in contact list I can choose several things like »number of elements on page« or select next, previous, first or last page as well as the exact page number.
This works great, but whenever I import a new contact or delete an existing contact, the contact list setting jump to the default 1st page with only 20 entries per page.
Can this be adjusted so the previous selected setting will be applied? Meaning for instance, when I choose 50 entries per page and I am on the 3rd page (entry 101 - 150), where I delete one entry, I'd like to jump back to the 3rd page with 50 entries on it..

I'll look into this. Preserving the current state of the result-set after an import shouldn't be an issue but if you delete records the page you're on might no longer exist (when you delete the last record on the last page). Nonetheless, we should try to preserve the number of items and current sort order.
