For me, Roomba j7+ (J755840), software v22.29.3 (2022-10-10) is supported already. Adapter recognizes the j7+, shows it's configuration data and reacts also on start / stop commands. (More not tested for now).
I added user / password manually.

Please check with newest version of adapter (1.2.1).
If issue still occure, please report your configuration (Adapter version, js-controller version, node, npm, OS).

If no response received within 30 days this issue might be closed.
