This plugin prevents its input from triggering a change event when changing its value. (Or at least it prevents jQuery from seeing a change event, using version 2.3.3. of colorpicker in Chrome 50.0.2661.102 (64-bit).)
This breaks the standard event-driven form-handling pattern of the HTML5 DOM.
