Abandoned: No new work has been done since 2015. The recommended replacement is Rowboat Music which uses a static-site generator (Hugo). Compatibility scripts are available to ensure that old URLs still work. Some (incomplete) documentation is available.
One Act Records is a lightweight program for creating a music website. It is designed for amateur musicians: The name "One Act Records" is a parody of record label names, illustrating the belief that musicians do not need record labels to promote their music.

Versions before 1.0 are not yet ready for general use. Using these versions requires technical skill and setup. Musicians who have these skills are encouraged to use it and contribute to development.

- MANUAL: The user manual has instructions for musicians. Currently, it only discusses general concepts, mainly having to do with how the site is presented to others. Version 1.0 will discuss how to add music.
- TECHNICAL: The technical information has details for developers, including how to write extensions. Currently, it only discusses the database schema.
