Observed in PHPMyAdmin in the right frame.
Loading the right frame in its own windows makes it work.

I thought Ace Editor was broken, but after trying out the different extensions I had, I realized it was an issue with ColumnCopy.

Thanks for the report @tinysnowman and @arikrak. I tried reproducing this on http://demo.phpmyadmin.net/STABLE but copying columns from those tables seems to work for me.

Could you point me to a specific URL which is exhibiting the issue?

Thanks

It happened when I clicked on the code editor on my site: https://www.learneroo.com/modules/11/nodes/99

(Also, vertical lines showed up when viewing this page: http://news.railstutorial.org/rails_tutorial_draft_second_launch/ )

Good spot - The latest stable version of PHPMyAdmin (4.2.8) no longer uses frames.
I am using 3.3.7deb7 and 3.5.3 - both use frames and both do show this problem.
I cannot find a publicly available copy to show you but I just tested it on another random site that use frames, and it also did not copy.
