Reproduce:

  • vim /nonexistentdir/foo.gpg
  • Write stuff, add recipient.
  • :wq
  • Your stuff is gone.

Same when you :new /nonexistentdir/foo.gpg or the like. At least getting some warning would probably have saved me reproducing an hour of work 😃
