Wow this was still not fixed? Also why node-oauth development was stopped?

Having the same problem, simov/grant#107 (comment) is putting me on a path that might help

Been over 5 years since there has been any movement on node-auth. Looking for this fix as well, time to move on to a different oauth provider?
