Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.

Can you try executing it like this;
GDK_BACKEND=x11 ./androidx86-installer

Or try switching to X11 session for now.
