"The Museum of Homelessness (MoH) is driven by a core principle of giving a voice to the people who have been silenced throughout history, especially with regards to the homeless community. The goal of this project was to assist the museum in the creation of educational resources to help schools fulfill a part of the Citizenship Curriculum, primarily Key Stages 3 and 4. Through extensive research, interviews, workshops, and a review of curricular materials on homelessness, the team developed a set of deliverables that included new web pages, a school database, a good practice guide and a set of lesson plans. Educating students about homelessness is one way to increase awareness about homelessness and instill the ideas of acceptance and tolerance in generations to come."

"Agriculture is the primary occupation in Himachal Pradesh, yet farming implements have not modernized alongside national trends. Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) students have been developing prototypes that can alleviate regional cultivation challenges. Our project documented existing agricultural practices, challenges, and perspectives on technology in order to develop a collaborative process for students to design devices that suit local needs. We tested our appropriate technology rubric to develop a seed planter and irrigation system for terraced farms."

"Rising labor costs and shifting consumer demands are causing Hangzhou manufacturers to reevaluate their current manufacturing practices. As part of China\u2019s push for internalization of automation, Greentech Investments wants to invest in the development of Chinese manufacturing. We explored automation implementation methods and workforce changes using surveying, interviewing, and field studies of manufacturers to assess current transition obstacles. We found that unskilled labor shortages are limiting manufacturing growth and developed a guide for industry automation adoption to combat this deficiency."

This project was designed to overcome the lack of communication and information currently undermining Boston's protective attempts in order to minimize further loss. Data collected through visiting unprotected wilds was used to determine each wild's importance and recorded in a database that included images and current ownership information for each wild, thus creating a source of centralized information."
