I am James Pyle, a postgraduate researcher (PhD student) in the Visual Computing research group of the Computer Science department at The University of Sheffield, UK. I am under the supervision of Dr. Paul Richmond and Dr. Mozhgan Kabiri Chimeh.
I recieved a first class Master of Computing (MCOMP) degree from The University of Sheffield after a 4 year undergraduate course between 2013-2017.
Research currently being undertaken as part of my PhD work focuses on the combined application of machine learning surrogate models, predictors, and search techniques to complex systems modelling for the purposes of knowledge discovery and increased prediction accuracy.
