Summary
Working on Windows, my git decided to automatically convert LF line ends to CRLF.
This makes
yarn test
fail with a lot of same errors from prettier asking to delete ␍.By adding a .gitattributes file we can configure which files we expect to always have LF line ends, so that git respects it regardless of local environment configuration. So all files will be with LF file endings (no ␍) regardless of the OS.
