Requires facebookarchive/node-haste#19 to take effect but this should be deployable in the meantime without adverse effects.

I could also use this feature. I recently removed relative-path requires from my project, using a symlink in nod_modules instead, not expecting all of my unit tests to get hosed...

I'm going to close this out. I'm replacing node-haste in #599. I'm not sure if this issue will still be applicable then and what the plan is for symlinks on react-native but I'm open to adding support for this.

This might not actually be needed any more. Have you tried using jest 0.8.2?
