Wijmo License

The Wijmo license in this application has expired. The license expiration date is 3/25/2023.

If you are a customer, you can create a license online. Otherwise, you can generate a 30-day license for free. For further assistance, contact GrapeCity: us.sales@grapecity.com.

Looking at the change logs, it seems the dev is constantly updating the wijmo license to this project to remove this nagging screen. Maybe let's wait a little while for an update or something.

This feels pretty dodgy, IMO. U trial the license once and after that .. u've had your chance at trialling it. Sounds like they are breaking the terms of use?

As far as I can tell, this is developed by the same people that provide the license. So not sure if that makes sense.

AH! that makes sense .. I guess they just need to give themselves a long-lived lic, then?

Interestingly, this extension is published by GrapeCity which is the same company selling the license. Does it mean they break the Terms of use set by themselves?

I've switched to the Office Viewer add-on, and hopefully there's no licensing issue.

Hey all, the license has been updated and the new version released. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi @banzor , thanks for your update. Is it still a trial license and require update every few months or a permanent one now?

@banzor was this really released? The latest release of extension is v4.2.56 and still the same license popup is shown

@banzor @jjuback I discovered that v4.2.57 was indeed published, but not the "regular" way - that's why it is not in releases on Github and that's probably why it was not published to Open VSIX registry.

Can you please publish it to Open VSIX as well?

Hi @banzor , @jjuback
Could you please also publish v4.2.57 to Open VSX?
