Pro Micro clone USB Type C issue #19
Comments
Thanks. Noted here https://github.com/joric/nrfmicro/wiki/Sockets#spring-pin-headers (jorne links to that article, the aliexpress link mentione is the same https://aliexpress.com/item/32840365436.html). Yeah that's a typical issue when you save on two 5.1K CC pull-down resistors, I didn't know Chinese USB-C Pro Micros do that. By the look of it they have a bunch of resistors so maybe just bad soldering, IDK. Longer ones don't seem to have them at all. (Micro-USB don't need 5.1K pull-down resistors, there are no CC pins in MicroUSB connectors.) |
Yeah, I've got the upper one. What are these resistor supposed to connect? I'm not very good in schematics, but I could try to build a crutch with a couple of wired resistors. |
both сс pins from usb-c through resistors to ground |
Hi, @joric. Thank you for your repository, You've done a great job!
I've bought a couple of Pro Micro clones (the blue Type C PCBs) by the link in your Wiki, and I've got an issue:
I've tried to use different cables and devices.
Have you ever got the similar troubles? Maybe you know any workarounds.
Sure that's not your fault but it might be reasonable to notice it in the Wiki.
