SVG Preview when previewing file

Hi,
I have, like most people since it's the default behavior, Atom set so that it only open files on double click. This means that when I single click, the file is previewed in Atom but not added to my tabs.

It would be nice if we were able to see the SVG Preview of the file when single clicking in the tree-view as it's the main factor of decision for me to know if I should double click the file in the tree-view to add it to my active tabs so I can edit it.
