Roasted Acorn Squash

A light meal for two. Total time 1 hour + prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 acorn squash

Spices

  • butter
  • brown sugar
  • maple syrup

Instructions

  • Cut the squash in half. Scoop out the seeds.
  • Cut a grid of slices into it (halfway to the skin).
  • On each half, smear on 1 tsp butter and 1 Tbsp brown sugar.
  • On each half, pour in 1 Tbsp maple syrup.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Consider adding some cinammon?
