With the modular secrets backend, K8ssandra-operator will not be able anymore to interact directly with the Reaper API to register the cluster.
We have two options:

  • Provide a new environment variable to pass the contact points service and modify Reaper to self register the cluster on startup
  • Create a job that will get secrets injection from the webhook and register the cluster
