We're not currently exposing the following fields from the CassandraDatacenter spec:

  • .spec.managementApiAuth
  • .spec.podTemplateSpec.SecurityContext

It would be nice to expose them for some advanced use cases.

Can you elaborate on the use cases?

It would help with some advanced use cases such as in place migrations.
We need more fine grained control over the management api auth and which fsgroup, user, user group will be used by the Cassandra pod.
