Hi @kotovasia5120, I can't open the link, perhaps it's geo-limited. I'm assuming you're talking about a fixed-height button-style probe with internal spring. I was thinking about ways to use them for zeroing the X axis but never got to that. There will be some challenges - how do you position the probe perfectly vertical between the tool and the part? If it's at an angle, the measurement will be off. If you have a spare port on the back of H4, you could try to make some code changes to make it work, please let us know the results. |

I chuck one of these up in the 3 jaw or collet chuck. Then I move the tool to the middle of the sphere and when it beeps just put 10 then press A (as the ball bearing diameter is 10mm) I found these to be very accurate. |

Can I use a feeler gauge to indicate the axis zero?
For example this one.
