Hi there! Do you use KDE on Wayland or on X11? And are you running the latest 0.9.0 version of Kando?
That's not the case. It's indeed an intended feature that you can run this command to tell an already running instance of Kando to open the given menu. |

I've used Kando on Fedora and Arch linux. And the menu worked great there. But on Monjaro linux plasma, for some reason it does not want to call the menu using a key combination. At the same time, nothing is written in the output in the console. I changed the layout, tried many different hotkey combinations in the config, tried kando-bin and kando-git from aur and downloaded the finished build. To no avail. In the end, I found the castell method. I created my own key combination in the plasma settings, which calls the command:
kando -m "menu-name"
I understand that this command is intended to be run only once, but it displays the menu even if it has already been run. And if it's a bug, in my case it turns into a feature. It work now, but I think it would be better to write about it here. And maybe someone can tell me how to fix this normally
