I have Advance > Modified set to Date Modified. Is this pulling through the date modified from the video stored on YouTube's servers? For example, I noticed a video that was published 21/03/2023 but the date modified was 18/03/2023, presumably because the publication was set to be three days after it was recorded.
If this is the case, I think you should add a third option to this Advance > Modify list, to simply have the download date/time, so that we can sort and find the videos based on when they were downloaded.

The modification time will be based on the timestamp provided by YouTube. For the same video, each format and resolution will have its own unique modification time.
If you require adding the download time, I can implement this feature.
But I did mention having download time as the default and 2 options, maybe it was missed heh.
I think providing an option would be best for whichever people prefer, maybe adding another dropdown menu to the UI for the file date? The download time could be the default, then two more options for using the upload date or modification time instead.
Yes, I missed that. I didn't read it carefully, so I misunderstood it as "when downloading files, the time uses the default of yt-dlp", and the default has --mtime, so I only did two options.
