As I have decided to turn this into a community project, I would greatly appreciate anyone with experience in Android development to help with the development of Starlight to turn it into a polished, community-driven Android launcher. Of course, PRs from anyone are always welcome and appreciated!

If we are open to donations still, we will need to sort that out as well.

Comment below if you are interested!

Would be interested, but have basically no experience in Android development. My PR was the first time doing anything in the Android field, so probably not really the experience what you are looking for. But I will continue to support this project with bugfixes, ideas, etc. of course.

I started this project with no Android development experience as well. As I continue working on this I realized I made a lot of mistakes when it comes to the architecture, such as not utilizing view models properly. I do really really appreciate your help, so if you are interested I am more than happy to invite you to this repo. At the moment, I am making significant code changes in the settings-redesign branch, migrating the code base to use DataStore and to refactor existing code to make it more in line with best practices. This makes it hard for me to split up tasks without causing any conflict, but hopefully after these changes it will be easier to add new features, and I can also start splitting tasks.

Not a problem, at the moment I am just slowing working through a bunch of issues to prepare for beta 7 release. When you are free, feel free to pick up an issue :)
