Create a personal Endpoint on Globus

This tutorial shows all the steps necessary to create a personal endpoint on a MacBook Pro.

Step 1: Download and install Globus Personal Package.

• Go to the following link to download Globus and click on "Globus Connect Personal for Mac" to download the package as shown on the picture below.

• Next, click on "Download Globus Connect Personal for Mac". Then click on "D as shown on the picture below.

• Double click on the downloaded Globus package as shown below:

• Drag the Globus icon to the Application folder as shown below:

• Double click on the Globus icon to launch the Application:

Step 2: Login and create and endpoint

• Click on the button shown below to login.

• 

• A page will open on the Browser so that you create a label for future reference:

• Once you login then your screen on the browser should look similar to this

• Create your collection personal endpoint as shown here:

• Once your endpoint collection name setup is successful your screen should look something similar to this

• On the Globus website, you can go to the following tab to verify the end point
