Sidebar Preferences need double click after first update

When changing a "preference" in the sidebar (general panel, preferences at the bottom, such as "Text Selects Diagram") is changed, it changes the preference as expected. When the same preference is changed after that, that update click is ignored and only a second click on the preference changes it again. Changing any other option or preference in the meantime also resets this behavior.
