Unfortunately, Microsoft prohibits usage of Microsoft Marketplace by any other products or redistribution of .vsix files from their market place, in order to use VS Code extensions in non-Microsoft products.

I'm a VS Codium user so I would love to see the TidalCycles VSCode extension available on open-vsx.org.

I'm interested in helping with this effort. I don't currently have any experience with the technologies involved so I'm unsure of the exact tasks involved. I'm opening this ticket as an initial place-holder if any one else is interested in following along.

Ok, I have read through the instructions. A secret token is required so the alternatives I can think of initially are:

• @kindohm : you can be charmed to take on the burden of support and add the secret to this account?
• I can fork this project, keep the secret myself, and publish a copy of this plugin to open-vsx.org
• Or I solve the problem of installing this plugin locally, and write up a manual 'how-to' on this thread.

Or may be other options?
