Linux and windows versions in the same directory?

Hello!
I use both versions of windterm and I wish to store them in the same synced folder, i.e. C:\Windterm. I know profile can be copied from version to version, but it is not too convenient. Is there any files with same names and different content (binaries or configs) in various windterm distribs? Is it safe to copy linux version over windows and vice versa?
