Strictly speaking, this is not an error, because terminals is not suitable for printing binary data or files. You can read a more detailed explanation here.

In order to solve this problem, the newly released WindTerm_2.2.0_Prerelease_1 has added the Reset Character Set feature. If you encounter this problem again, you only need to simply execute the Right click menu - Reset - Reset Character Set menu item to restore the normal display. You can download and use it.
