GitHub Project Card Color Customizer

Introduction

GitHub Project Card Color Customizer is a Chrome extension that allows users to customize the background colors of project cards on GitHub project boards. This tool is particularly useful for visually organizing project cards based on different repositories.

Installation

To install and use the extension locally:

  1. Clone this Repository

  2. Open Chrome and Navigate to Extensions

  • Open Google Chrome.
  • Navigate to chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
  1. Enable Developer Mode
  • In the top right corner of the Extensions page, toggle on 'Developer mode'.
  1. Load the Extension
  • Click on 'Load unpacked'.
  • Navigate to the directory where you cloned the repository.
  • Select the extension's root directory (where the manifest.json file is located).
  1. Launch the Extension
  • The extension should now appear in your list of extensions.
  • Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open it.

Usage

  • Click on the extension icon to open the popup interface.
  • Add a GitHub repository name and select a color for it.
  • The selected color will be applied to all project cards associated with that repository.
  • To remove a color, use the 'Remove' button in the interface.
